Every May through August, the University of Ottawa extends its seasonal accommodations to groups and individuals, allowing you to enjoy convenient and affordable accommodations throughout the summer months. Centrally located downtown of the Canadian capital, the university is the perfect place to stay, experience this great city and benefit from all events and attractions.

Within two miles of the university’s campus is the Canadian Parliament, which offers group tours and a free sound and light show—a thematic journey through Canada’s history. Learn about our country’s civilization in the largest exhibition about Canadian history and fill your days with tours of 15 major museums right in Ottawa’s downtown core. The Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is also a stone’s throw away from our campus. Moreover, Ottawa has fashion and shopping for all ages at the CF Rideau Center. Local artwork, activities and many restaurants can be found in the ByWard Market.

For students, Ottawa is the perfect place to play outside—from cycling on a vast network of pathways to adventure experiences, festivals, sports and entertainment. The campus is a 15-minute drive to the great Gatineau Park.

The University of Ottawa has a dining facility, which offers three meals a day to be enjoyed either in a sit-down fashion or to be taken with you during your urban treks. We also offer catering as an option on-site and boxed meals for breakfast or lunch as an alternative.
