A Silver Soiree: FAQs
Where is the event?
Radio Park at Rockefeller Center. There will be volunteers outside of Rockefeller Center holding signs to direct you.
Rockefeller Center is a big place. Where do I enter?
Enter on 50th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues for Radio Park at Rockefeller Center. The main entrance is located on North Plaza, between Anthropologie and & Del Friscos Grill.
What time does the event start?
The event starts at 7:30pm and ends at 10:30pm.
Will there be transportation to/from the event?
Transportation will not be provided to/from the event. We recommend walking as Radio Park is a short walk (8 minutes/ .4 miles) from the Sheraton Times Square or it is a short cab ride away.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Tickets will only be available in advance online or onsite at Conference Registration. It is recommended to purchase early as there is a limited capacity.
Where do I pick up my pre-purchased ticket?
Tickets purchased in advance can be picked up at Conference Registration from Thursday, August 8 through Saturday, August 10 at 12:30pm. After this, your ticket will be available for pick-up at SYTA Central, Executive Conference Center, Lower Level.
I don’t see A Silver Soiree ticket in my registration, but I bought a ticket.

Do I need my ticket to enter the Soiree?
Be sure to keep your ticket in a safe place as you will be asked to show it for entry for the Silver Soiree.
Do I need to bring/wear my SYTA badge?
You do not have to wear your SYTA badge to the Soiree; however, if you plan to attend the Afterglow at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, you will need it to enter the Afterglow.
What should I wear?
No need to pack a ballgown or tuxedo. The dress code is “Summer Cocktail Attire” and here is a pinterest.com board with suggested attire. The event space is partially outside, so plan to be comfortable if it is a warm summer evening. There are grassy areas, so we recommend avoiding stiletto heels.
Will the event still take place if it rains?
Yes, Radio Park offers a combination of indoor and outdoor space. If the weather does not cooperate, there is a plan to fully utilize the indoor space.
Does the Soiree offer open seating for single ticket holders?
There will be plenty of open seating throughout the venue (both inside and outside!) to enjoy. Reserved tables will be identified with the table sponsor logo.
Will there be food and beverages served?
Yes, there will be a variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a full open bar. Mocktails will be provided by ARTEC House. The menu has been selected with multiple allergies considered and will be available on-site.
Will there be a Live Auction?
There will not be a Live Auction at the event; however, there are opportunities to further support the SYTA Youth Foundation through the Silent Auction and Chance Drawing during Conference. Be sure to create your silent auction account early to check out the amazing items and packages available.
