Cave of the Winds, Discovery Tour ($75)
Cave of the Winds is an historic natural landmark filled with amazing formations just waiting to be discovered by you. This is one of the region’s original attractions and is a great year-round choice for family fun and adventure. Explore the electrically lit portion of the cave on a 45–60 minute guided walking tour which includes 15 rooms, a 1/2 mile of concrete walkways, and 196 stairs. Summit attendees will learn about the history and geology of the cave while being shown some of its most beautiful formations.
U.S. Air Force Academy ($75)
Set at the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills, the U.S. Air Force Academy is so much more than an undergraduate institution and military base. With state-of-the-art technology and modern architecture, this campus offers Summit attendees a collection of awe-inspiring attractions to explore.

Located less than one mile from The Broadmoor, Seven Falls is one of Colorado’s most captivating natural wonders. This magnificent series of waterfalls is situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules. Restaurant 1858 is a unique Broadmoor dining venue situated at the banks of Seven Falls. Taking its name from the Gold Rush era and the famous motto, ‘Pikes Peak or Bust’ of that time, Restaurant 1858 offers authentic Colorado cuisine in a rustic setting made of hand-hewn stone and reclaimed wood, with custom lantern mining inspired light fixtures. “Gold Rush” art from The Broadmoor’s Western Art collection is showcased throughout the restaurant, and is accented with historic photographs of the area from yesteryear.

PLAY is a sports bar in the West Building where you can enjoy nostalgic cocktails, Colorado microbrews, wines, spirits or an adult milkshake. The restaurant features bowling lanes, a shuffleboard table, a pool table, foosball and game monitors. We have reserved bowling lanes so dust off your bowling skills or play one of the other games we’ll have available. Attendees are on own for After Glow games, snacks and beverages. As part of the Summit learning program, attendees will experience two student-friendly attractions in Colorado Springs: Garden of the Gods Park and the U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC).
Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark. Experience dramatic views, 300′ towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. This world-class Visitor & Nature Center and museum is the most visited attraction in the region with all new interactive exhibits. Learn how the amazing red rocks got there with the NEW Geo-Trekker theater experience. Delight in one of Colorado’s most photographed views from the terrace overlooking Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods.
From there we’ll head to the Olympic Training Center (OTC) which provides housing, dining, training facilities and other services for more than 500 U.S. athletes and coaches. Summit attendees will tour portions of this vast, 35 acre complex led by a Team USA athlete in training. Before departure, there will be time to browse the Team USA Shop (one of two in the country), which offers a wide assortment of unique Olympic, Paralympic and sport-specific merchandise.

The Broadmoor: Cheyenne Lodge

A quick shuttle ride from The Broadmoor’s main building, the rustic yet elegant Cheyenne Lodge features a warm and cozy ambiance, while providing guests with a private setting that feels as though you are on a remote mountainside. The outside patio showcases breathtaking views of both the Rocky Mountains and Colorado Springs.

Bristol Pub

A quick cab ride from The Broadmoor, Bristol Pub is located inside the Ivywild School, an historic former elementary school that was built in 1916 and transformed into a community marketplace and local gathering spot. The pub offers a friendly, laid back vibe overlooking the brewhouse and fermentation room, with a classic shuffleboard table and a tasty menu. Attendees are on own for After Glow transportation, snacks and beverages. Bristol Pub closes at 11:00 PM.
