ONLINE CHECK-IN
SYTA will reserve cabins with Royal Caribbean. Each guest will receive a booking number from SYTA prior to departure to check-in online. Attendees will provide their personal information and credit card. This includes legal name and date of birth.
DEPARTURE DAY CHECK-IN
Attendees should plan to arrive at the Port by 2:00 pm EDT. Cabins will be available for check-in by 2:00pm. Porters will be available to take luggage or attendees may board with their luggage.
Attendees will need their Passport or Birth Certificate with Photo ID to board ship.
RETURN DAY CHECK-OUT
HEALTH & SAFETY
Royal Caribbean and SYTA will not require proof of vaccination status or a negative test result at SYTA Summit 2024 events and off-site activities. Mask-wearing at SYTA meetings and events is totally acceptable and up to the individual attendee.
ON BOARD SHIP MEETING
February 2, 2024
Summit at Sea attendees will meet up at 2:30pm for a fun networking event to kick off our time at Sea. Ship departs at 4:00 PM
CELL PHONES AND WI-FI
Cell phones work on cruise ships and guests can use text messaging. It is recommended that guests put their phones in airplane mode. Travelers can connect to the Wi-Fi available onboard or use their cellular data on cruise ships. Summit 2024 registration includes Wi-Fi for up to two guests per cabin.
SEA PASS, CASH AND CREDIT CARDS
Summit 2024 attendees will be required to register with Royal Caribbean and provide a credit card deposit of $100 on their Sea Pass Card (subject to change). SYTA will provide a cabin credit of $50.00 per person to be used while on board ship. Attendees may want to bring an extra $20 a day for tipping crew members. Make sure to include smaller bills for tips – especially for porters and luggage.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
The Medical Center on board has daily office hours which are listed in the directory. The medical staff is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. The hours may vary from ship to ship and whether the ship is in port or at sea.
SUMMIT AT SEA YEARBOOK
Attendees will receive the yearbook with photos and names of all Summit at Sea attendees prior to departure.
DAYTIME DINING
Attendees eat breakfast and lunch on their own in any one of the ship’s restaurants. The most popular spot is the Windjammer Café which offers a full buffet or a sit-down lunch in the Dining Room. Attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and eat with each other.
DELUXE BEVERAGE PACKAGE
Deluxe Beverage Package is included in group contracts. for all adults over 21. Guests under 21 are to receive The Refreshment Package.

Mini bar items, room service, vending machine items, food retail items (candy, macaroons, cover charges, etc), beverages above $13 (retail value), cigars and cigarettes, souvenir items, mini bar items and room service.

Bottles of wine are not included; however, when purchased in the bars or dining rooms, they will be available at 40% discount on wines under $100. Wines above $100 will receive a 20% discount.

EVENING DINING
Summit at Sea guests will enjoy dinner together at 5:30 pm seating. SYTA will coordinate table assignments to facilitate networking among all guests. Saturday evening is the “formal” evening and attendees are encouraged to dress up.
AFTER GLOW
After dinner activities will be available to Summit at Sea attendees.
EDUCATION SESSIONS AND ROUNDTABLE
Morning sessions are open to all attendees in the conference center. Attendees should eat breakfast in the ship’s restaurants.
GROUP ACTIVITIES
The Summit committee is planning fun group activities for Saturday and Sunday afternoon. There will be something for everyone. Teams and assignments will be provided by the committee.
