The March 2026 Global Citizen’s Challenge Recap

Mar 16, 2026

The 2026 Global Citizens Challenge has come to a close, and once again, it showed how powerful it is when young leaders come together with purpose. The energy from students around the world was matched by the enthusiasm of the incredible SYTA members who participated as speakers and presenters. This year, participants represented more than 51 countries, bringing diverse perspectives and cultures to the program.

A big shoutout to Visit Pittsburgh for bringing a taste of their incredible city to the forefront. This included having virtual tours from the National Aviary, Bradford House & Whiskey Rebellion, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Rivers of Steel, which were all enjoyed immensely.

Now we shift our focus to impacting the youth on the ground in Pittsburgh with our skill-building program, and we will be there this August alongside the SYTA annual conference. We hope to involve as many SYTA members as possible so that you can see the impact of the SYF Foundation firsthand!
