There’s so much in store for 2026 that your students will love! From immersive history to hands-on discoveries, Williamsburg and the Historic Triangle are packed with experiences that bring learning to life.

At Colonial Williamsburg, history comes alive across 300 acres of restored streets and authentic buildings, with costumed interpreters guiding students through centuries of stories. Coming in April 2026, the Colin G. and Nancy N. Campbell Archaeology Center will showcase live digs and artifact preservation. The Bray School offers a glimpse into one of the earliest institutions for the education of enslaved and free Black children.

Experience the origins of America at Historic Jamestowne, where students can explore the 1607 James Fort, visit Memorial Church and the Archaearium Museum, and participate in living history programs that bring the settlement’s story to life.

At Jamestown Settlement, the special exhibition Following the Dragon: Chinese Ming Porcelain in Early Jamestown” (November 15, 2025 – July 12, 2026) highlights the remarkable connections between Jamestown and Asia, featuring rare porcelain and cultural insights from the colony’s earliest years.

At the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, Fresh Views of the American Revolution (Oct 18, 2025 – May 3, 2026) pairs historic Bicentennial artworks with contemporary pieces, inspiring fresh conversations about liberty, equality, and the meaning of revolution.

And it’s not all history! Youth groups can enjoy Busch Gardens Williamsburg or explore scenic parks, kayaking trails, zip-lining, and biking paths.
