About Golf Classic

The Teeing Up for Student Travel Golf Classic is a two-day fundraising event supporting the SYTA Youth Foundation, a 501c(3) charity that changes young lives through travel. Over 7,200 students and more than $1.3 million in scholarships and programs have been awarded through the support of donors and events like the Classic.

Golfers

Whether you are an avid golfer, a beginner or testing your golf skills, everyone wins playing in the Scramble. If you have a regular twosome or foursome that you play with, bring them along. Fans are invited to cheer on the golfers and spend the day at the course or come over for the awards reception and luncheon. Open registration includes breakfast at the course, unlimited beverage cart, specialty snacks and fun themed holes and prizes, followed by an awards reception and luncheon.

SYTA Social

A fun-filled “Margaritaville” themed evening with music, great food and a chance auction to benefit the SYTA Youth Foundation. Attendees will network with travel industry colleagues including SYTA and SYF Leadership, group travel planners, tour operators, receptive operators and suppliers. The SYTA Social is open to everyone and is included with the Golf Classic registration. Golfers are encouraged to spend the evening at the resort and meet your fellow golfers and sponsors.

Reminder: These events are already included in all golfers’ registrations. Sponsors and fans may also register for these events.

Student Travel Forum

On Monday, October 5th at 4:30 p.m., prior to the SYTA Social, attendees may attend an education event facilitated by SYTA CEO, Carylann Assante on SYTA’s research study the Student Travel Business Barometer which shares global and domestic data on the market and what you can expect for 2021.

I'm a Fan! (non-golfer package)

All fans are welcome to come out and cheer on our golfers.

Fan registration includes transportation to the course from the Margaritaville Resort Orlando, breakfast at the course, reception, luncheon and awards ceremony and complimentary access to the beverage cart.

City Tour: Adventure to the Wild Side of Florida Excursion

Join Experience Kissimmee on Monday, October 5th, for an exciting day of fun and adventure where you’ll take an air boat ride, explore the everglades and meet local wildlife.

Local Sales Mission

A one day opportunity to meet local adult and student receptive operators on Monday, October 5th, prior to the SYTA Social. Transportation and lunch is included in the mission. Limited number of spots available.
