We encourage you to reserve early as the hotel will fill up quickly! SYTA has negotiated discounted hotel rates for the conference. Reservations must be made by August 1, 2022 to qualify for the discounted group rate. After that date, group rate is based on availability.

• Group rates are available three days before and three days after the conference, based upon availability.
• Reservation cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before arrival date to cancel without charge.
• All reservations require a deposit equal to one-night room and tax at the time of booking.
• Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
• Check-out time: 11:00 a.m.

The hotel is providing SYTA hotel guests complimentary internet in their sleeping rooms and complimentary access to their Living Health Fitness Club.

Self-parking at the hotel is currently $52.00/day.  SYTA attendees staying the hotel will be offered a 10% discount. Parking prices are subject to change.

Airport Information

Washington, DC is served by three major airports.This information is provided for your convenience. Please keep in mind prices are estimates and subject to change. Note: traffic delays can affect the cost of transportation by car. Fares will vary by distance, surge pricing, and other factors. (tip not included)

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

• Reagan National is the most convenient airport, located a short ride from downtown DC and the hotel. With a dedicated Metro (subway) Station at the airport it offers an inexpensive way to the hotel’s closest Metro Station, Dupont Circle (just a few blocks from the hotel).
• Metro: $3–5 SmarTrip fare (peak/off-peak fares apply)
• Lyft, & Uber: $15–22
• Taxi: $20–30

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

• Dulles is located approximately 26 miles from downtown Washington and the hotel. The Metro does not go directly to the airport but has a stop about 5 miles away accessible by bus.
• Silverline Express Bus to Metro: $8.85–11 ($5 for bus plus $3.85–6 Metro SmarTrip fare (peak/off-peak fares apply)). Using the Metro will require several changes of lines and stations.
• Lyft, & Uber: $40–55
• Taxi: $70

Baltimore -Washington International Airport (BWI)

• BWI is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Washington.
• Lyft, & Uber: $55-65
• Taxi: $80-95
• Amtrak: $17-22 one-way MARC: $7 one-way to Union Station in DC, then it is necessary to take a cab or use the DC Metro to get to the hotel. With a dedicated Amtrak/MARC station near BWI connecting onward to DC’s Union Station this is a relatively simple process. BWI’s free shuttle to the rail station offers the 35-minute ride to nation’s capital several times an hour throughout the day. The $7 one-way MARC fares are a bargain but use the vending machines at the station to buy them as the cost jumps to $12 onboard. Amtrak trains run about 10-minutes faster getting you to Union station in around 25 minutes.

Housing Policies

We request that you stay at the 2022 SYTA Annual Conference host hotel. SYTA takes a financial risk when securing rooms for the conference. Registrants reserving rooms at other hotels increase this risk, which could result in fewer available rooms and higher room and registration rates in the future. Attendees who stay outside the hotel block will be charged an additional $200 after the conference. If you your company has specific travel policies and you cannot stay in the Conference Hotel, please send an email to [email protected]. SYTA Conference Registration

Registration is not required to reserve a room, but SYTA will be checking hotel reservation lists against registered attendees. A room reservation is subject to cancellation if a guest has not registered for conference by May 31, 2022.
