The 2021 SYTA Virtual Annual Conference took place on August 16-19, 2021. Attendees were delighted with thoughtful education, inspiring messages, and awe inspiring entertainment. Whether you were registered for the event or not, we have made our sessions available for viewing at your leisure. Staying connected is not only important to my destination but to cities and towns all over the country that depend on travel and tourism to provide jobs and keep our industry moving forward. I trust SYTA to go above and beyond to do everything possible to keep us safe, plus I miss everyone.

We all have been through so much and coming together is going to be a big step in the path of healing. Seeing and re-establishing those partnerships after incurring such a challenging situation for (most likely) more than a year will be important professionally and emotionally. There will be many new faces, and it's important to welcome them and start building those partnerships as we step forward, out of the aftermath of COVID-19. Coming together as an industry will bring healing, restoration, and hope, in addition to the business appointments and incredible educational sessions.

While we have experienced a great virtual Conference with SYTA Live in 2020 as well as virtual Business Appointments I think it is safe to say that what the SYTA family truly needs is the 2021 Annual Conference to see industry friends and family in person. We need to share our experiences live and celebrate how far we have come - together - despite the pandemic.
