CONVENTION CENTER SHUTTLES

Convention Center shuttle service will be provided from all host hotels during the following times:

• Saturday, August 15 | 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM & 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM
• Sunday, August 16 | 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM & 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM
• Monday, August 17 | 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM  & 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM

HOTEL RESERVATIONS – HOUSING IS NOW OPEN

As a convenience for the 2020 SYTA Annual Conference attendees, hotel reservations will be made through Connections Housing, the official housing vendor for the conference.

Reserve early as hotels will fill up quickly! SYTA has negotiated discounted rates for the conference. To secure these rates, you must make your hotel arrangements with Connections Housing, Inc. the only approved, official housing vendor for SYTA. All correspondence (emails, etc.) will have this seal to indicate the correspondence is coming from Connections Housing, Inc. Please note: You may only reserve one hotel room at a time.

If you receive a call or e-mail from an outside company, please be DO NOT share any information. This is a deceptive practice and is not in any way affiliated with SYTA.

Housing Policies

We request that you stay at one of the 2020 SYTA Annual Conference host hotels. SYTA takes a financial risk when securing rooms for the conference. Registrants reserving rooms at other hotels increase this risk, which could result in fewer available rooms and higher room and registration rates in the future. Attendees who stay outside the block will be charged an additional $150 after the conference. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to seeing you in Winnipeg.

Registration

Registration is not required to reserve a room, but SYTA will be checking hotel reservation lists against registered attendees. A room reservation is subject to cancellation if a guest has not registered for conference by May 31, 2020.

Deposits

All reservations for the 2020 SYTA Annual Conference require a deposit equal to one night room and tax at the time of booking.

Cancellation

Reservations can be cancelled without penalty by July 9, 2020. Policies for reservations canceled on or after July 9, 2020 are determined by each hotel. Connections Housing will charge a $100 cancellation fee per room reservation. Hotel cancellation policies also remain in effect if room is not canceled.

Please note these changes to the Friday schedule: The SYF Golf Classic will not be on Friday. It will take place in Kissimmee in October 2020. President’s Welcome and Annual Meeting will be Friday at 5:15 p.m. Opening Night events will follow the Annual Meeting.
