Kick-off your pre-conference experience with your SYTA friends at the Countdown Reception! You’ll enjoy networking, light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails against the gorgeous backdrop of the Huntsville Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden is a beautiful 120-acre site with stunning floral collections, inviting woodland paths, broad grassy meadows, aquatic areas and demonstration vegetable gardens. This event will include recognition of those who have generously supported the SYTA Youth Foundation over the years.

A team of German rocket scientists transformed Huntsville, known in the 1950s as the “Watercress Capital of the World,” into a technology center that includes the second largest research park in the country and the world’s largest space museum, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
Join us as we celebrate the start of SYF’s 20th anniversary year with a German Biergarten, featuring authentic German cuisine. You’ll experience a festive atmosphere complete with live music, cocktails, imported and domestic beers and delicious wines from the German region. Stand beneath the world’s only full-stack space shuttle, complete with two solid rocket boosters and external tank, and walk the length of a suspended authentic Saturn V moon rocket.

The SYF Golf Classic is an incredible opportunity to support the SYTA Youth Foundation while making your pre-conference experience more productive. Golfers of all levels are encouraged to participate. Transportation, green fees, breakfast and the annual awards luncheon is included. The Highlands course at Hampton Cove is one of the gems of the RTJ Golf Trail.

The SYTA Youth Foundation Silent Auction provides you with the opportunity to build brand awareness, solidify relationships and maximize exposure to the student and youth travel community through donated goods/services. The Silent Auction is marketed to the entire SYTA and SYF community (members and donors), whether they are attending annual conference or bidding from home. All proceeds directly benefit the mission and work of the SYTA Youth Foundation.
The SYF Silent Auction is held online only, through Bidding for Good. The auction will open on Monday, July 29 at 1:00 PM CT and will close on Monday, August 12 at 4:00 PM CT. All auction items are displayed online and a small number of items are requested for display at the conference. We ask that the donations are not shipped to SYF Headquarters. SYF connects the donors and highest bidders after the auction closes to claim their items. SYF is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Any items displayed at the SYTA Annual Conference may be picked up once the auction closes.
