Host an Event
Hosting a SYTA event attracts tour operators, suppliers, media and others engaged in the student and youth travel industry.
Past host cities tell us that hosting a SYTA event was the best way for “prospective buyers” to see their destination and they have seen increased business and “ROI” to prove it.
SYTA uses an RFP process that includes a combination of host city, sponsorship and state support to bid on a SYTA and SYF event. The support levels vary by event and destination.
Opportunities to host an event include:
- SYTA Annual Conference (August)
- SYTA Summit (January/February)
- SYTA and SYTA Youth Foundation Board Meetings (two in Spring and two in Fall)
- Student Travel Forums
- SYTA Socials
- SYTA Youth Foundation Running for Youth
