Fly My Group Provides Rebooking Solution for Individual Travelers
Like many SYTA members, Fly My Group was geared up for a busy travel season before having to slam on the breaks, pivot and shift gears in response to COVID-19.
“This global pandemic has resulted in mass flight cancellations and constantly evolving carrier policies,” said Roy Peterson, president of Fly My Group, noting they’re currently booking airfare through March 2021.

In many cases, when groups are canceling, cash refunds are not being offered or made available, with airlines providing vouchers or future travel credits that can be used by the group or the individual traveler. In response, Fly My Group has received overwhelming feedback that assisting each traveler with their credit is a daunting task.
“During this very difficult time, we have listened to the mounting concern and have worked around the clock to develop, build, and roll out a customized individual voucher booking system,” said Peterson. “This tool will give your individual travelers the ability to book a new flight utilizing their travel credit at any time.”

Groups planning to reschedule their trips can continue to work directly with the Fly My Group team to rebook contracts.
