Why the Forum?
The Tour Operator Forum is a response to members asking to meet together in-person. New York is committed to working with Tour Operators and restarting student group travel.
Who can attend the Forum?
The Forum is hosted for student tour operators by NYC & Company with a limited number of local sponsors. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Lauren Abdelkader at [email protected]. SYTA Strategic Partners register by contacting Becky Armely at [email protected].
Who can attend SYTA Social?
Everyone. This is a local opportunity to connect with NYC and SYTA members and support the SYTA Youth Foundation. If you are not a member yet, you can register and meet the staff and learn more about joining NYC & Co and SYTA.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If you are thinking about coming, please let us know by January 7, 2022. We are offering a full refund for the meeting registration through January 17th if you need to cancel and the hotel has a 72-hour cancellation policy.
What will be the health and safety protocols for the Forum and the SYTA Social?

COVID STATEMENT AND SYTA PROTOCOL FOR TOUR OPERATOR FORUM AND SOCIAL
Safety is of the utmost importance and central in our planning for the Tour Operators Forum. The SYTA staff continues to monitor the latest information coming from national, state and local health and public authorities. We will continue to work closely with the hotel to ensure all recommended safety guidelines and health protocols are followed during our time in New York City. Please check our website in the weeks ahead for updates and more information on safety and health protocols. Participants may be required to wear masks when in all meeting spaces and not required for outdoor events; sanitation stations will be provided.
Currently the hotel, following NYC guidelines, requires participants to be able to show proof of at least one (1) vaccination dose when in the hotel meeting space, fitness center, restaurants and bar(s). All hotel staff are required to be vaccinated. Participants are not required to wear masks within the hotel and are not required at outdoor events. It is at the discretion of each participant to determine their own comfort level when determining whether or not to wear a mask. Sanitation stations will be provided throughout the hotel public spaces.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ATTENDANCE AT THE TOUR OPERATOR FORUM
Please note: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 and the Delta variant is extremely contagious, attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. By attending the Forum, you voluntarily assume all risks and personal expense related to exposure to COVID-19.
