Occasionally, you or your clients may need to use Transportation Security Administration customer service resources. During the busy summer travel season in particular, knowing which resource to work with could save time and stress.

Have questions on what to bring through the security checkpoint? Did you leave something behind during screening? A dedicated TSA team answers questions regarding permitted and prohibited items, identification requirements and more. TSA Cares

For questions or concerns about traveling with a disability, contact the TSA Cares helpline 72 hours before traveling. TSA Cares answers questions about screening policies, procedures and what to expect at security checkpoints. TSA Cares can arrange assistance for passengers with medical conditions and for injured service members, veterans and wounded warriors. Call 855.787.2227, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends/holidays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

TSA in the Airport

For a helping hand during screening, just ask. Travelers who require special accommodations or have concerns about the airport security screening process can ask a transportation security officer or supervisor for a passenger support specialist, who provides on-the-spot assistance during security screening.
