SYTA has been a huge part of my more than 20-year adventure in tourism and Broadway, I wouldn’t be where I am today without this incredible community. My introduction to the world of tourism came through student group travel to Broadway. With a background in dance performance, I never expected to find my career in tourism, but once I did, I never looked back. It’s been an amazing journey ever since.

In my current role at Broadway Inbound, I get to work at the intersection of Tourism and Broadway, advocating for global tourism within the Broadway community. It’s a role that is both exciting and challenging, allowing me to work with clients of all sizes around the world and approach each project as a creative problem solver. These two industries, Tourism and Broadway, thrive when students travel, and I’m passionate about creating opportunities that inspire future generations of travelers and theatergoers.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work across many areas of our business — from software development and ticketing to operations, budgeting, marketing, sales, partnerships, and client management. These experiences have helped me develop a broad perspective, and I believe that understanding different viewpoints is invaluable in leadership.

Serving as Chair of the SYTA Youth Foundation and as a Foundation Trustee has been a true honor. I’ve seen firsthand the difference our SYTA community makes in students’ lives through our philanthropic efforts. As my time with the trustees of the Foundation wraps up, I’m excited about the opportunity to serve SYTA in a new capacity.

If elected to the Board of Directors, my goal is to better understand what SYTA members need from the association today. Together, we can grow SYTA and our businesses in an ever-evolving world.
